The Earth Vellumental Temple is a location in Paper Mario: The Origami King. It can only be accessed by recovering all five Shell Stones and placing them in the door found in Picnic Road. Being the home of the Earth Vellumental, it is turtle-themed.

If Mario comes here while Bob-omb is in the party, he will wait at the entrance, claiming that he is "claustrophobic".

Layout

The temple starts with four guides, which cost ten coins to listen to, but are optional. At the end of a path, the player has to pay fifty coins to hear a guide talk about the Earth Vellumental's weak spot, which is the tail. When the guide is finished the player can knock down the wall behind it with the hammer to proceed. Next, there is a Save Block before some pillars that move vertically. In the next room, some origami Koopa Troopas ambush the player, and after defeating them, there are some Earth Vellumental-like platforms that stretch their heads horizontally. Next is a room where the pillars push Mario off, where the player has to go into a hole in one of the pillars. Then, in the next room, there is a Save Block, and many fire traps. After passing the fire traps, another Save Block appears and after breaking a rock, a fire trap falls and Mario has to get in one of the holes to survive; if he gets crushed, he gets an instant Game Over. After that, a MAX UP Heart appears before a Save Block and the boss room.

# 1	Mario should listen to tourist station 2, which will lure a green origami beetle out from behind the rock formation.
# 2	After listening to station 3, Mario should hit it with the hammer and pull out the green Toad trapped inside.
# 3	Just past station 4 are a set of ceiling lamps. Mario should jump into the fifth light. This will release a green, crumpled Toad.
# 4	Three origami beetles pop out of a rock near station 5 after it is hammered. One beetle scurries away while the other two remain in the area. Hammering the yellow origami beetle on the wall will reveal a Fun, Funky, and Functional vendor Toad.
# 5	After breaking the rock near station 5, a green origami beetle will crawl on the ground close by. This too is a green Toad.
# 6	After breaking the rock near station 5, a green origami beetle will scurry under the stairwell. Hammering it will reveal another green Toad.
# 7	In the second area of the temple, Mario should repair and ride pillar as it descends, entering a small cave. He then must break the rock and defeat the Swoops to rescue the temple curator.

Rocks	A chest is found at the bottom end of the corridor with moving pillars.
Pipe	A treasure hides in a block found under a Earth Vellumental relief, on the same ledge as the stone opening that resembles the Earth Vellumental's head.

	Fire Flower	At the start of the area is a Hidden Block between first rock and the first guide.
	Mushroom	Beyond the fake wall, a Hidden Block is found between the torch and an Earth Vellumental relief.
	100-Coin ×2	Between the two Earth Vellumental-like platforms are two pillars that extend over a spike floor. Above these are two more blocks.
	Fire Flower	This Hidden Block is above the "left hind leg" of the second Earth Vellumental-like platform, indicated by a weathered patch on the surface.
	Shiny Boots	Just right of the pillars with Not-Bottomless Hole and Olly Tape on them, there is another block.
	Shiny Hammer	A ? Block is found between the first two moving pillars in the third room.
	Coin Bag ×2	A Hidden Block hides at the bottom layer of the third room, between the last two extending pillars and slightly in front of the wall. Another block hides directly above the previous one.
	100-Coin	Near the Save Block at the top of the area with moving pillars, a ? Block rests beside a Not-Bottomless Hole.
	Coin Bag	A block hides to the left of the stone opening, resembling the Earth Vellumental's head.
	Collectible Treasure #27	Another Hidden Block is found under a Earth Vellumental relief, on the same ledge as the previous block.
