Down with Petey Piranha!
Template:Missionbox Down with Petey Piranha! is the second episode of Bianco Hills in Super Mario Sunshine. The episode's objective is to defeat Petey Piranha at the top of the Big Windmill.
Layout
Upon starting the mission, the player needs to make their way to where the first episode was completed. This time around, however, the gate leading to the countryside is now open and will remain open in future episodes.
Once at the bridge, the player needs to use the Hover Nozzle or the ropes to cross the gap. Beyond the bridge, there are several piles of Graffiti and many Piranhabons will be rolling down the path to the windmill. The path spirals around the windmill and there are several Piranha Plants in the patches of Graffiti that will appear when the player gets near. Near the end of the path, there are two gaps the player needs to hover over. Taking the windmill's platforms up and jumping onto the top will start a cinematic of Petey Piranha roaring to intimate Mario, which leads to the two of them crashing through the windmill and falling inside.
Once inside, the battle with Petey Piranha will begin. Petey's attacks involve spitting out Graffiti, which causes Swoopin' Stus and Piranha Plants to spawn, and attacking Mario if he gets near. To defeat Petey Piranha, the player needs to spray into his mouth when it is open. Spraying water into Petey's mouth until he swallows it all will cause Petey to fall over and his belly button to bulge. Ground Pounding Petey Piranha's stomach will make him spew the water he swallowed around him, cleaning up any Graffiti he created. Spraying and Ground Pounding Petey Piranha two more times will defeat him and reward the player with the episode's Shine Sprite.
