Template:Species-infobox Designbombs are a species of Bob-ombs used by the Beanish fashion designer Harhall in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and in the remake. Unlike regular Bob-ombs, Designbombs explode into colors or shapes, and because of this, Harhall uses them to color and design his clothing line. They also lack fuses, instead having small propellers where their fuses should be. Designbombs come in six varieties: red, blue, yellow, striped, polka-dot and checker patterned. The colored Designbombs would come out first and after the Mario Bros. colored the shirt, the patterned ones would appear. The Mario Bros. had to make the exact shirt design specified by Harhall to convince him to give them his Beanstar piece.

If two or three colored Designbombs are used at once, the pattern is a combination of the colors (purple, green, orange, or brown). Likewise, if multiple patterned Designbombs are used, the pattern ends up being a star. This makes 28 possible designs, and if the Mario Bros. makes all of them, they are rewarded with Harhall's Pants.
