A Dark Spiny is a shady version of a Spiny found in the Flopside Pit of 100 Trials in Super Paper Mario. They slowly walk around the rooms, trying to ram Mario and his allies. Because of their spiky shell, they cannot be jumped on, except when standing on Carrie. Unlike most Spiny sub-species, Dark Spinies are not thrown by Dark Lakitus, as they do not appear in the game.
