Tattle

That's a Dark Koopa. It lives in dark places that the light never reaches. Max HP is 8, Attack is 4, and Defense is 2. It's a bit tougher than a regular Koopa, so you won't be able to beat it easily. But, it DOES have the same weakness as a regular Koopa. Flip it over and it's helpless. Why do you think it needs sunglasses down here, anyway? What's the point?

Dark Koopas are purple-shelled Koopas that live in dark places underground. They first debut in Toad Town Tunnels in Paper Mario, where they sometimes grin and start to spin around when they attack, making their opponents dizzy. They are also stronger than regular Koopa Troopas. This is the only place in the game where they can be found, just like the Gloomba and their relatives.

Dark Koopas are also found in the Pit of 100 Trials in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, but in this game, they do not cause dizziness. Instead, they are merely stronger than regular Koopa Troopas, having their stats doubled, and slightly stronger than they were in Paper Mario. They are found in floors 31-39.

In Super Paper Mario, a stronger, pitch-black, shadowy Koopa called Dark Koopa appears in the Flopside Pit of 100 Trials.

In Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, a different kind of Dark Koopa appears in the final battle with Dark Bowser. After his body grows large, he will throw a ball of dark enemies, including Dark Koopas. Dark Koopas go into their shells, and Bowser needs to punch them to knock them into the other enemies up ahead.

Tattle This is a Dark Koopa. Dark Koopas are Koopa Troopas who live in the Toad Town Tunnels. They're known for causing dizziness. Max HP: 8, Attack Power: 3, Defense Power: 2 Be extra careful when you see 'em grin, because that means they're getting ready to do their dizzy attack. Their defense power is 0 when they're turned over, so you should use Jump attacks.
