Template:Worldbox DK's Hideout (also called the Basement) is a hidden location in the Nintendo DS game Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis. It is located in the basement and has two optional levels. Both levels are hidden optional battles with Donkey Kong and both require a certain star rating to be able to play them. The first level requires 40 Silver Stars or higher and the second requires 40 Gold Stars. The enemies in these areas are Springboards, Fireballs, and Barrels.
Levels
To unlock both levels, the player needs a certain star rating very similar to the Roof.
B1
To defeat Donkey Kong. The player must guide the Mini Marios on the rivets on the girders. Barrels and Fireballs will fall from the ladders and the minis must avoid these. There are six rivets next to Donkey Kong's platform. After all the rivets are gone. Donkey Kong will fall down and the battle is won and the player unlocks a new image in the gallery.
B2
This level requires the minis to dodge Barrels, Fireballs, and Springboards. Water drops will occasionally rain from the ceiling. If minis come into contact with these they will have a shield around them very similar to the fifth battle in Lava Dome. To beat Donkey Kong this time, the minis must push a massive barrel down on him. Once six minis make it to the barrel, it falls on Donkey Kong and the battle is won and the player gets a new movie titled Musical.
