Cut from the Team

Template:Minigame-infobox Cut from the Team is a Battle minigame in Mario Party 8. The name is an expression used when someone is removed from a team, e.g., in sports.

Introduction

The four players are shown on a mountain with a small stand and ten wires connected to it.

Gameplay

Players take turns walking onto the stand and cut one of the ten wires. Three random wires are "live" and will trigger a spring that launches whoever cuts them off the platform. The last player remaining after these three wires are cut wins.

• Rules – "Take turns snipping wires. Some are dead wires, but others trigger a catapult that sends you flying."
