Template:Levelbox Crown Capture at Pop-Up Prairie Town is the twelfth level of the Special Episode in the Nintendo Switch version of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker. It takes place in a lightly altered version of Pop-Up Prairie Town.

Layout

The first Crown Chip appears on a platform just above the player's starting point, and must be obtained by climbing a ladder to it. Afterwards, the next Crown Chip appears on a platform directly adjacent to the first one, and the player must drop to the ground and climb another ladder to collect it. The third Crown Chip is atop the highest platform, forcing the player to climb two ladders while avoiding a Shy Guy to obtain it. The fourth Crown Chip is at a lower level platform close to a lift, forcing the player to fall onto the lift once it comes into view to collect it. Afterwards, to collect the fifth Crown Chip, the player must return to the ground level and enter an alcove behind the same lift in order to reach another lift underground. The Shiny Crown then appears on a higher-up platform accessible via a ladder.

Super Gems

  • Super Gem 1: Only obtainable between the second and third Crown Chip, on a lower platform adjacent to the latter. The player must climb a ladder upon obtaining the second Crown Chip to collect it.
  • Super Gem 2: Only obtainable between the third and fourth Crown Chip, on a platform close to the latter. The player must wait for the same lift used to obtain the fourth Crown Chip to reach the Super Gem in order to obtain it.
  • Super Gem 3: Only obtainable between the fourth and fifth Crown Chip, on a platform directly above the former. The player must simply use a ladder to collect it.

Bonus objective

  • Didn't take any damage!
