Template:Kart-infobox The Crimson Slim tires are a set of unlockable tires in Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. They offer a slight boosts to speed and handling, and are exactly the same as the Slim, except that they are completely crimson in color. It also hinders acceleration slightly and traction heavily.
In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, the Crimson Slim now share their stats with the Wood tires. They now have improved water speed, water handling, air handling and Mini-Turbo stats, and their traction stat has been reduced as well.
