Cream the Rabbit
Cream as one of the referees in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games

Cream's first appearance alongside Mario and the other Mario franchise characters is in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games. She serves as one of the referees in some of the game's events along with Toad, Espio the Chameleon, and Charmy Bee. She, along with Toad, mainly handles calling out fouls and starting races in the Athletics events, and also watches the players play the Table Tennis and Fencing events.

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games

In the next installment, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games, Cream reprises her role as a referee in the events. Cream also appears as one of the scorekeepers of the Festival Mode along with Toad. In this mode, she and Toad serve as the main hosts and announce the day's events; they can be seen cheering for the player throughout.

In the Nintendo DS version of the game, Cream appears in the story mode beside a locked chest. After some recommendation of talking to her by Toad, Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog can speak to her and obtain a new type of gear from opening the chest she was struggling with. Due to her polite nature, she is content with giving the obtained item to Mario and Sonic for their adventure. In the ending, an unlockable photo of her alongside Toad and many of the other hosts can be obtained.

Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games

In the Wii version of Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games, Cream appears as a referee in several Events and also hosts the London Party mode alongside Toad and Cheese. She also appears as a character that can be spoken to in London Party mode in order to play various minigames and earn stickers. A suit based on her can be unlocked and be worn by the player's Mii, and Cream will also occasionally send the player mail.

In the Nintendo 3DS version, Cream appears in the Story Mode episode A Rainbow In Fog, where she and Cheese are attacked by a group of Fog Imposters and are saved by Mario, Luigi, Toad, Sonic, Tails and Omochao, who explain to them what is happening before defeating the imposters. After the imposters are defeated, Cream and Cheese thank the group for their help and decide to stay behind at the Main Stadium, with Cream later appearing at the opening ceremony. A badge of Cream can also be obtained from the badge machine.

Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games

Cream returns in the Nintendo 3DS version of Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, this time as a playable character exclusive to the Beach Volleyball and Beach Volleyball Plus events.

Cream is not playable in the Wii U version; in this installment, she is operating the Sonic Item Stand on Copacabana Beach.

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020

American English - Sidekick to Amy Rose, Cream the Rabbit is a cute, hardworking friend. She has a Chao named Cheese, and they make a great team. She probably wants to cream the next person who makes a joke about their names, but I can't help but want a cream-cheese bagel when I talk about them...

British English - You don't often see Cream without Cheese. (Excuse us, we're suddenly really hungry.) Actually, Cream is a lovely, hardworking little rabbit, and Cheese is her beloved pet Chao. They're the perfect, adorable little team, and not in the slightest bit edible.
