Clumphs are caveman-like Beanish enemies that appear in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. Clumphs do not appear in the overworld, only in battle alongside Glurps, Ice Snifits, and Scaratroopeas within Joke's End (unless the Bros. are seperated in the remake).

Clumphs use three different attacks; the first attack consists of smashing the ground with their club, triggering a quick yellow shockwave that deals small damage, similar to Queen Bean's. The second "attack" is a burp that charges up for the third technique, which is actually a variant of the first one: a slow purple shockwave appears, dealing severe damage if not avoided. Before unleashing the third attack, a part of the Clumph's body flashes yellow, and the flashing part determines the purple shockwave's size. If the head flashes, the shockwave is medium-sized; if the body flashes, the shockwave is small; if the feet flash, the shockwave is very big.

Clumphs appear to wear a wig; if the Firebrand technique is used against them, the toupee sometimes burns, in which case the Clumps flee the battle.

The Protobatter and Pwallops from Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story have similar attacks to Clumphs.

In Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions, Clumphs now take critical damage from Mario's Firebrand attacks, especially the Fire Bros. attack. Clumphs also appear as enemies in Minion Quest: The Search for Bowser. They are Melee troopers, and they have high amounts of POW. Their special skill is Whomping Wallop, which causes them to strike the ground with their clubs, damaging all enemies on the ground behind the area where the club struck the ground.
