Chain Chomp Glacier is the second race of the Special Cup in Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit. This course is unique in that it uses the theme of Freezie Frosts and the gimmick of Chain Chomp Stadium, another Chain Chomp-themed track. As such, gates are covered with snow, while the screen is covered with snow for the entirety of the course. Additionally, Freezies appear, slowly sliding along the portions of the track in which they are appear. Chain Chomp signs appear below certain gates. When broken, these signs cause a Chain Chomp to appear with the driver for a short time. This race reuses the music from Mario Kart 8's Cloudtop Cruise for its theme. The course icon depicts Mario on his Snow Suit in the Snow Drifter in a tundra, using Chain Chomps as mush dogs.

Gates[edit]

The gates in this track acknowledge the glacier aesthetic of the course, with all of them being covered in snow and icicles. Some gates have Chain Chomp signs underneath them. Additionally, Freezies appear most often between gates.

  • Gate 1: Features two Chain Chomp signs, one on either side.
  • Gate 2: Occasionally features a rainbow treble clef. Collecting it when available causes a short trail of Notes to appear ahead. Collecting all of them in the time allotted rewards the player a random item.
  • Gate 3: Features a Chain Chomp sign in the middle.
  • Gate 4: Features Item Boxes.
