SplitEdit

Do we really need this huge category? Why not split it up. Super Mario 64 Items, Super Mario 64 Enemies, Super Mario 64 Place, etc. -- Ghost Jam  03:02, 9 February 2007 (EST)

Split into Category:Super Mario 64 and Category:Super Mario 64 DSEdit

Honestly, the two are different games. Yes, one is a remake, but it contains many new features. This category is overloaded with information from essentially two games. I know that many of the articles within the category will overlap, but the DS version brings many new features that should be able to warrant its own category page.

SupportEdit

  1. DKPetey99 (talk) Per my proposal and the comment above.
  2. Alex95 (talk) Makes sense. We have Category:Super Mario Bros. 3 and Category:Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3 after all.
  3. LudwigVon (talk) Per proposal.
  4. Yoshi the Space Station Manager (talk) SMM Images are split from SMMfN3DS Images. The games would have separate categories themselves if they had something different in both.
  5. Bazooka Mario (talk) Obviously.
  6. Baby Luigi (talk) Per Alex95.
  7. Niiue (talk) Per all.
  8. Quizmelon (talk) It always confused me why this was done, per all.
  9. Luigi 64DD (talk) Per all.
  10. Fawfulfury65 (talk) Per all.
  11. Ultimate Mr. L (talk) Per Alex95 and Yoshi the SSM.
  12. Shokora (talk) – Per policy.
  13. Toadette the Achiever (talk) They are definitely different games, despite having the same kind of levels and layout and whatnot. Per all.
  14. Mario jc (talk) Per all.

Spilt CategoryEdit

Spilt the Categorys into 2 Super Mario Bros. Wiki (talk) 16:31, May 13, 2020 (EDT)

How so?    16:32, May 13, 2020 (EDT)
Well, if you want my opinion, there could be a separate category on Mario's moves, since there doesn't appear to be one already.   (T|C) 16:34, May 13, 2020 (EDT)
I'm down with that.    16:36, May 13, 2020 (EDT)
Yeah. And same for every Mario platformer game without this kind of category.   (T|C) 16:38, May 13, 2020 (EDT)

How do you spilt them up?

How do you want them to be split up? What are you trying to do?    16:39, May 13, 2020 (EDT)
