Bundt is an oversized living wedding cake found in the game Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Chef Torte and his apprentice have baked a cake for Booster and Princess Toadstool's wedding ceremony. However, Mario interrupts the wedding and rescues Toadstool, angering Chef Torte. Chef Torte and his apprentice then attack Mario and his allies. During this fight, Bundt is the only object that can be damaged. After taking several hits, Bundt starts to move. Chef Torte's apprentice tells his master this, but Chef Torte ignores him. When Bundt moves a second time, however, and Chef Torte and his apprentice retreat. Meanwhile, Mario and his allies must defeat Bundt by extinguishing all five of Bundt's candles with physical attacks before hitting Bundt itself. Bundt can relight one candle each time it attacks, however, and it can attack multiple times in one turn. After being defeated, Bundt's top layers disappear, leaving the base layer, Raspberry, to fight Mario.

Trivia

  • Bundt is named after a bundt cake, despite it being a wedding cake rather than a bundt cake.
  • Only Bundt's lower half is seen before battle, using Raspberry's sprite.
  • The Steak from Paper Mario: Color Splash is similar to Bundt, as they are both food-based bosses fought after a minigame, and are eaten after they are defeated.
  • The Chuckolator is also similar to Bundt, as both are consumable bosses that both come to life by the people who created them.
    • Also both bosses are eaten/drank by the people who wanted/needed it.
