Bowser Oil is a sponsor that appears in Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe that presumably supplies oil for the Karts, Bikes and ATVs used in the game, run by Bowser. The logo of the company is the name written in a simple, black font, with the centre of the "O" in "Oil" being replaced with a Bowser symbol. It appears on a yellow background, occasionally with a black and white checkered line underneath. It is advertised by means of trackside banners, signs, flags and promotional tents, and is also referenced on a map and is the main sponsor on the black, purple and yellow varnish of the Circuit Special.

Bowser Oil is advertised using signs, trackside banners and promotional tents in Mario Kart Stadium, as well as signs and trackside banners in DS Wario Stadium. It is also advertised by use of promotional tents, signs, flags and trackside banners in Excitebike Arena, and is referenced on the Local Information map in Super Bell Subway, where it is listed under section A and appears twice in C3 and once in B3, though it is only listed as appearing in C3. It also appears as the main sponsor on the black purple and yellow varnish of the Circuit Special, with the logo appearing on the front, sides and rear wing of the varnish design. A monochrome version of the trackside banner appears on the game's loading screen, as well as at the end of the game's credits with various other sponsors.
