Template:Missionbox Bouncing Down Cake Lane is the third mission of the Toy Time Galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy.

Layout

Similar to the first mission, the starting area has two trains moving along the circular track, though this time they are both moving in the opposite direction. Using the Launch Star to the right will send the player to a set of walls the player needs to use the Spring Mushroom power-up to Wall Jump up. Afterward, the player has to move along a conveyor belt moving in the opposite direction, spring jumping over walls to continue, and falling down to the planet below at the end of the belt. The next planet is a large, rotating, circular cake with dinnerware floating above it, and the player needs to move in the opposing direction around the cake to reach a Sling Star.

The next set of planets are ice cream- and Popsicle-themed with the player needing to jump between the stems of the Popsicles to reach a rotating set of large lollipops with a Sentry Beam shooting out waves of energy. Afterward are broken up ice platforms with Octoombas moving along them that leads to another group of rotating lollipops, which leads to another ice platform with a cannon on the upper ledge the player can reach by climbing a pole. Using the cannon, the player can shoot to a Launch Star that will take the player to a large cake with silverware sticking out of it, which the player can use to climb up. Spinning to blow out the candles surrounding the top of the cake will cause a Launch Star to appear, sending the player to the final planet with an Undergrunt Gunner. The Undergrunt Gunner will fire out balls of electricity and the player has to use a Spring Mushroom, located at the back of the planet, to reach the Undergrunt Gunner. Ground Pounding the Undergrunt Gunner three times will reward the player with the Power Star.
