Bounce and Trounce

Bounce and Trounce is one of Mario's minigames in Super Mario 64 DS. It is also playable in New Super Mario Bros., where it is classified as a Variety Minigame.

This game is very similar to Bounce and Pounce, but is point-based rather than level-based. Three different Marios will fly up on screen, and the player must make them fall on top of the Fly Guys-for every time a Mario lands on a Fly Guy, the player will get a point, and the Mario will bounce back up. Tapping on a Mario will make him bounce up into the air. Tapping his left side will make him fly up and to the right, and vice versa. After the Mario lands on a Fly Guy, more will come. They start off normal sized until eventually only small ones will appear. The player can drop three Marios before they lose.

In-game instructions

The sky is thick with Fly Guys! Help Mario stomp on their heads by tapping on him. Tap Mario on the left, right, or center to make him bounce left, right, or straight up into the air.
