Template:Minigame-infobox Boogie Beam is a 4-Player and Duel minigame in Mario Party DS.

Introduction

The players are standing on a billboard, which says the word "dance" in big letters at the top and has spotlights attached to it. The players perform poses if the lights shine on them, or gesture if not in the light.

Gameplay

Duel version of the Boogie Beam minigame of Mario Party DS.
Duel minigame version

On the cue of the music (which is an arrangement of the Underground Theme from Super Mario Bros.), a spotlight will shine on some or all of the players. If the spotlight shines on the player, they must touch the yellow button. If the spotlight does not shine on the player, they must touch the purple button. For the last pose, every player's spotlight lights up. At the end, the player with the most correct poses wins. If all players end up with the same number of correct poses, the minigame will end in a tie.

Ending

In the end, the player(s) with the most points do(es) their victory dance(s) on the billboard. The spotlight(s) in front of the winner(s) also light(s) up.
