Block Fort is a battle course in the Mario Kart series. It first appeared in Mario Kart 64 with four structures in each corner of the level. Ramps lead up to the first level, where thin bridges lead to the other forts. Another ramp leads to the top level, with longer bridges to the other forts roofs. Item Boxes are on the ground levels edge-wall, and on both of the forts' levels. Like Double Deck, this course shares its music with Choco Mountain.

This battle course reappears in Mario Kart DS. Block City from Mario Kart: Double Dash!! and Block Plaza from Mario Kart Wii appear to be based on Block Fort.

In mission 6-4 in Mario Kart DS, as Mario, the player must destroy the 10 Item Boxes that move around the stage.

Trivia

• In the Nintendo 64 version, the entire battle course appears to be surrounded by a sea of water, as shown in the icon in the battle stage selection. In the Nintendo DS version, the Touch Screen indicates the course to be surrounded by a field of grass.
• Despite N64 Choco Mountain returning in Mario Kart DS and using the same music as Block Fort in Mario Kart 64, the latter uses the same music for every other battle course in the DS version. In addition, despite being a classic course in the latter, it does not assign it the "N64" prefix. Both of these also apply to Pipe Plaza.
