Template:Kart-infobox The Birthday Girl (known as the Royal Ribbon in the British English version) is a default kart body that appears in Mario Kart 7. It resembles a shoe, with ribbons and bows decorated.

History

Mario Kart series

Mario Kart 7

It changes color for Princess Daisy, Rosalina, and Honey Queen, receiving an orange, blue, and purple color scheme, respectively. Furthermore, it is Princess Peach's, Princess Daisy's, and Rosalina's signature kart, as well as one of Honey Queen's, alongside the Bumble V. Although it changes color for most female characters, Peach and female Miis do not get a color change.

The Birthday Girl offers a high acceleration and handling boost, while its speed, weight, and off-road are hindered. It is tied with the Cloud 9 and Tiny Tug for the lowest speed of all kart bodies, while being tied with the Egg 1 and Bumble V for having the highest acceleration of all kart bodies. Lastly, the Birthday Girl is tied with the Cloud 9 and Koopa Clown for having the highest handling of all kart bodies.

CPU Daisy is more likely to be seen driving this body with the Roller, Slim, Slick and the Sponge tires. Male or indeterminate-gender computer racers are not seen on this kart. It has the same engine noise as the Standard Bike from Mario Kart Wii.

Color schemes
  • Princess Daisy – Orange top and yellow underside with yellow spots
  • Rosalina – Blue top and dark blue underside with light blue spots
  • Honey Queen – Purple top and dark purple underside with light purple spots
  • All other characters – Pink top and red underside with light pink spots

Mario Kart Tour

The Birthday Girl returns in Mario Kart Tour. Unlike its Mario Kart 7 appearance, it only has the default coloration no matter which driver is using it. It appears to be equipped with the Roller tires, being a mix of its appearances from Mario Kart 7 (black tire treads), Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (yellow center). It is classified as a Normal kart, and has the Dash Panel Plus skill.
