Template:Species-infobox Big Amps[1] are a large variety of Amps that first appeared in Mario Party 5. They differ only in size and have the same appearance as their ordinary counterparts (excluding Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2).

History

Mario Party series

Big Amps from Mario Party 5

Big Amps first appear in Mario Party 5. They appear in Shock Absorbers, along with normal Amps. In this game, they are slightly bigger than an average Amp. Touching them will electrify the player.

Mario Party 6

A single Big Amp makes a cameo appearance in Mario Party 6, during the intro of Circuit Maximus. It is the first time a Big Amp is very large.

Mario Party 10

Big Amps reappear in Mario Party 10 in Kamek's Rocket Rampage. After Kamek loses half of his health, he uses Banzai Bills that deal three points and Big Amps that deal two points.

Super Mario series

Super Mario Galaxy

Big Amps appear in Super Mario Galaxy as faceless balls unlike the regular-sized Amps. Despite that, their behavior is identical to their smaller counterparts.

Super Mario Galaxy 2

Big Amps return in Super Mario Galaxy 2, where they appear in the Space Storm Galaxy.

New Super Mario Bros. U

Big Amps make their Wii U debut in New Super Mario Bros. U. There are plenty of them in Snake Block Tower alongside their original counterpart. If Mario touches one, he will be electrocuted.

They are one of the very few enemies not to return in New Super Luigi U.
