Beanbean Fields, originally known as Beanbean Outskirts or Outskirts of Beanbean Kingdom,[1] is a series of grasslands that surrounds Beanbean Castle Town in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and its remake. It borders Hoohoo Mountain and Teehee Valley to the north, Chucklehuck Woods to the west, Oho Ocean to the east, and Beanbean International Airport to the south. Woohoo Hooniversity is located in the southeast corner of the region, while Yoshi Theater lies in a box canyon to the north. Warp Pipes can be found in the northwest and southwest, as well as a small cave on the beach in the east.

Mario and Luigi first reach Beanbean Fields after descending to the bottom of Hoohoo Mountain. It primarily serves as a hub, since many areas of the Beanbean Kingdom are connected to it. After the Beanstar shatters, one of the pieces lands in Harhall's Studio in the south. However, Harhall finds it first, and he won't give it away unless the brothers help him with his Splart project. The Mario Bros. also explore the fields to search for Bean Fruit, which are needed to get the Yoshis at Yoshi Theater to lay Neon Eggs.

The Hammerhead Bros., who are first met in their house in Hoohoo Village, eventually move here, making their new home in a cave in the eastern part of Beanbean Fields. Mario and Luigi can visit them here after mastering the hand techniques at Oho Oasis to receive Super Hammers. They must return to this area after reassembling the Beanstar to obtain Ultra Hammers, which are necessary to access Joke's End.

Green Pepper   From the screen to the northeast of Beanbean Castle Town, go northeast and water the sprouts. The item will be given by the Monty Mole.
Hoo Bean   In the right screen to the south of Beanbean Castle Town, it's in the ? Block above the northwest high platform.

High-End Badge   In the right screen to the north of Beanbean Castle Town there is a cave entrance. Before the first Monty Mole, get onto the ceiling and go right, Mario will see another Monty Mole who will give this item.
Iron Pants   In the left screen to the north of Beanbean Castle Town, move the Boo statue and hammer the cracked wall in the high place. At the end of the cave inside is a Monty Mole who would give Mario this item.
Wool Trousers   In the left screen to the north of Beanbean Castle Town, electrify the blue ball and go into the cave. The item is given by the Monty Mole at the end.
Bean Fruit   In the screen to the northwest of Beanbean Castle Town, it's surrounded by blue flowers in the west.
In the screen to the west of Beanbean Castle Town, it's surrounded by blue flowers in the north, between trees.
In the screen to the southwest of Beanbean Castle Town, it's surrounded by blue flowers on the high platform in the southeast.
In the left screen to the south of Beanbean Castle Town, it's surrounded by blue flowers in the southeast.
In the screen to the southeast of Beanbean Castle Town, it's surrounded by blue flowers in the southwest.
