History

New Super Mario Bros. U / New Super Luigi U / New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe

Bean Platforms first appear in New Super Mario Bros. U and New Super Luigi U as platforms that usually appear on giant beanstalks. They are platforms that periodically coil and uncoil. Bean Platforms appear in Skyward Stalk in the former game and in Beanstalk Jungle and Dancing Blocks, Poison Swamp in the latter game.

Bean Platforms reprise the aforementioned roles in New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe.

Super Smash Bros. series

In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, some Bean Platforms may occasionally appear on the Mushroom Kingdom U stage.
