Template:Kart-infobox Badwagon is a default kart body that appears in Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. The kart body resembles a pink muscle car. Though muscle cars are typically built for speed, the Badwagon does not offer a ground speed boost (though it offers a water speed boost); it excels at weight and traction while acceleration and handling are lowered.

The back of the car is adorned with stereo speakers, tailfins, and neon lights, with a logo of Roy Koopa's company, Roy Smooth Sounds, on the back. The stereo speakers and the lights animate to the beat of the background music, while they are idle in the beginning of the race and briefly when the final lap jingle plays. It shares its stats with the Tri-Speeder, the Steel Driver, the Standard ATV, and the GLA. Artwork of the kart also shows that it has 4-wheel steering, though it is not used in-game. It has the engine sound of a V-twin with loud and distinctive exhaust noise.

A CPU-controlled Peach will occasionally use this vehicle body, paired with the Standard tires. In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe it must now be unlocked by collecting coins. CPU King Boo, Roy, Wario, and Pink Gold Peach occasionally use this body during races with the Off-Road tires.
