Template:Character-infobox Bachelor is a member of the Brothers Bears who appears exclusively in the Game Boy Advance remake of Donkey Kong Country 3. He lives on an island in the middle of Lake Orangatanga, named "Bachelor Pad". Barnacle was on the island in the original release, but he was relocated to Pacifica. In the game, Bachelor is preparing for his date. This explains how his name was derived from "bachelor", a term to describe an unmarried man.

A few things appear in the background of his home, Bachelor Pad. Bachelor stands at a desk resembling one of a receptionist's. He has two white tables, one in front of him and another on the opposite end of the room. The former desk has a drink on it. He has a pair of blue weights lying on the floor, which suggests that he works out, and a mirror on the left side. Bachelor Pad has a clear view of Lake Orangatanga from its entrance. Despite the front door's location, the Kongs walk into his residence from the left side of the screen.

History

Bachelor introduces himself to the Kongs.

Dixie and Kiddy can swim to Bachelor Pad after they complete the level Doorstop Dash. Upon first entering, they are greeted by Bachelor, who is eagerly awaiting his upcoming "hot date". However, he wants to present his girlfriend with a Box of Chocolates and a Rose. Bachelor requests that the Kongs find both items. In addition, he gives them a Flupperius Petallus Pongus, a flower he finds no use for. The Kongs can exchange this flower to Bramble for a Rose, and the Box of Chocolates can be bought from Bazaar's General Store for twenty Bear Coins.

When the Kongs provide Bachelor with the two items, he happily rewards them with Banana Bird. It is unknown who his date is.
