- “I'm looking for this guy who defrauded me with a fake credit card the other day. If you find that jerk, give him a whupping for me!”
- —Goomther, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
Goomther is a Goomba that wears a green hat around in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. His name is a portmanteau of "Goomba" and the German name "Günther". Goombella uses him as a demonstration for her Tattle ability. He seems to get ripped off a lot, as whenever talked to, he bemoans having, for instance, his credit card stolen by Larson. All he does all day is walk around Rogueport, where he lives.
Tattle
- "That's Goomther the Goomba. He's always grumbling about getting ripped off... ...He must be easy to con. Which isn't to say that we should con him, of course!"
Goombella has a demonstration tattle for Goomther only when she joins Mario's party.
- "That's Goomther the Goomba. He's always complaining about being swindled or mugged..."
