Template:Kart-infobox The 8-Bit Star is a High-End glider in Mario Kart Tour. It first appeared in the Super Mario Kart Tour and became the signature glider of Mario (SNES) in the Mario Tour and Wario (Cowboy) in the Wario vs. Waluigi Tour. The glider is a recreation of the Super Star's sprite from Super Mario Bros. with an 8-bit connecting pole, much like the 8-Bit Jumping Mario, 8-Bit Jumping Luigi, 8-Bit Fire Flower, 8-Bit Bullet Bill, and 8-Bit Super Mushroom. As evidenced by its Spanish and Portuguese names, it also looks similar to the Starchute. Striking other drivers with Lightning grants more points than usual when using this glider. Starting from the Snow Tour, the 8-Bit Star is available in regular tour pipes, including the All-Clear Pipe.

- "You can find the 8-Bit Star glider in pipes, including the All-Clear Pipe that you can fire by clearing all of this tour's cups in blue."[1]
