Killer bees[1] are enemies in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! They are encountered in Riverside Race only. Killer bees are a group of invincible miniature red bees resembling red Buzzes that chase after Dixie and Kiddy Kong for most of the level, though they do not chase the Kongs in certain parts, including whenever they are underwater, on elevated terrain, at the start of the level, or at the area with the Level Flag; even then, the killer bees still follow either above or below the Kongs. Killer bees are one of four enemies absent from Dixie Kong's Photo Album, the others being Koindozer, Kroc, and missile shell.
