Distant Planet is the name of Captain Olimar's home stage in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The stage is set on the planet that Captain Olimar landed on in Pikmin. The stage takes place on a group of tree branches, vinces and a hillside, in reference to the basic terrain of Pikmin. Pellet Posies lie around the stage, and may drop Pellets, which can be tossed at the Onion for Items. Sometimes a massive downpour will hit the stage, causing the muddy banks on the side to fill with water, and they will become a waterfall. This will push any player caught in the water down into the pit. On top of that, a Red Bulborb might appear on the opposite side of the stage, and will attack any player near that side by eating them.
