Talk:Tenbōdai Course

From the Super Mario Wiki, the Mario encyclopedia

Before an English name for the subject is found, should the title be "Tenbō-dai Course"? (MW:JAPANESE: for article titles, words that originated in English should be written as the original English word for simplicity)

And I think the hyphen can be removed because 展望台 can be considered a single word, cf. wikipedia:ja:展望台 --A gossip-loving Toad (Talk) 23:35, 9 January 2017 (EST)

For Japanese article titles, noncompound, unambiguous loanwords in katakana should forego direct romaji in favor of English equivalents. As for the hypen, I believe it could fall under relaxed rules, so it's more one's preference than strict. LinkTheLefty (talk) 02:08, 12 January 2017 (EST)
