Does this accessory really increase coins earned?

I have played this game quite a lot of times and in some I used this accessory, and others I have not. I'm starting to get the feeling that coins earned from filling in Not Bottomless Holes are never set in motion regardless if this accessory is turned on which is making me weary of the claim stated in the article, especially since it's not mentioned anywhere in-game and the only source we have is a reddit post. I've gone ahead and removed it for now, a single Reddit post with nothing to back it up isn't a valid source. If actual evidence of this is found it can be re-added. -- Too Bad! Waluigi Time! 12:07, January 25, 2022 (EST)

So I ran a test to see. I edited my save to give myself 0 coins, and I filled in every hole on Bonehead Island, tracking my total amount of coins after each hole filled in. "Left to right" means I started near the Snifit and ended at the cafe door, "right to left" means I did the opposite. I thought order and direction might matter, but it ultimately doesn't. I'd get as little as 4 and as many as 25 coins from holes, with extra 1000-coin bags being thrown in sometimes. I think the 2nd row is an outlier. The Petal Bag doesn't seem to have impacted my totals at all. Scrooge200 (talk) 14:56, January 29, 2022 (EST)
