This is a generic subject that does not warrant an article in any way. The Super Mario ones are just decorations - Bob-omb Battlefield has two which function as hidden warps, but the same level has warps in the alcoves in the spiraling mountain, so the function isn't intrinsic to the flower patches, they're just there to vaguely hint at the warps' existence. They appear in Whomp's Fortress where they sometimes have Piranha Plants in them, but others are just scenery. The Mario Kart one is just a form of "slowdown" terrain on a specific track that doesn't stand out from others such as sand, grass, mud, etc. As for the Mario Golf ones, we decided through proposal a while ago that golf lies don't warrant articles and merged them to a list of golfing terms. Therefore, none of this article's sections justify its existence. Dark BonesSig.png 22:10, June 12, 2022 (EDT)

Hard agree. I didn't even know this article existed before your message. It's only linked to four articles with Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour being the only mainspace article that actually links to it. To touch upon the Galaxy appearances, the tall grass also shares the flower's functionality which means it isn't unique to just the flower patches. - RHG1951 (talk) 23:15, June 12, 2022 (EDT)
SMG almost justifies it, but some bushes do the same thing. I also didn't know this was an "article." Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 02:29, June 13, 2022 (EDT)
Yeah, if this Flower Patch does the exact same thing as other objects in game whenever it shows up, then we should delete this page and delete the links in the other articles. PrincessPeachFan (talk) 08:55, June 14, 2022 (EDT)
I'll support deleting this article as well. Bowser Nightwicked Bowser Bowser emblem from Mario Kart 8 14:43, June 14, 2022 (EDT)
