The Walking Trees (previously known as Moving Trees and currently known as Walking Trees because the guide calls them that) were merged because apparently they're not notable enough. This is to say nothing of the other Mario Kart obstacles that weren't merged, like Bomb-Car, Mushroom Car, and Wiggler Bus, apparently these trees are especially unimportant despite serving as obstacles just like the rest of them. With the current proposal to delete Pit Plant failing and the current proposal to split Bouncing Note in full swing, this proposal is coming hot on their heels. If you're going to quibble about it not having enough appearances, then it's appeared in both Mario Kart DS and Mario Kart 7, which is more than the above Car and Bus, and there are many, many, many subjects that have only made one appearance. To put it frankly, the Walking Trees are officially named entities with unique appearances that interact uniquely with players, and saying that the Mario Kart series is somehow undeserving of having individual articles for its enemies goes against literally every other standard for every other series. Are you seriously going to tell me that Mario's Time Machine deserves to be covered to a deeper extent than the Mario Kart series?

Well, the Turtle can be interacted with, as in the player can move it aside. Not so much with the tree. 20:07, 3 September 2017 (EDT)

The drivers interact with the Walking Trees by bumping into them. The Moving Trees shuffle from side to side, and if the players hit them, they are slowed down. It's not a background element that just looks at the racers (and frankly, it can be interacted with more than the birds). Hello, I'm Time Turner. 20:10, 3 September 2017 (EDT)

Music based on eponymous game?

I've added this to the Main Theme (Luigi's Mansion) page before, but it was removed, though I can hear the similarities. Technically ghost themes in the series are pretty similar in structure, so I don't know is it based on the original theme or is it completely original. WildWario (talk) 10:47, December 18, 2022 (EST)
