Spacing around 「」

Hi. You seem to be oscillating between adding and removing the spaces around the Japanese quotation marks (「 and 」). I understand that in most Japanese fonts, the glyphs for the quotation marks have enough space to set them off from the English surroundings, but this is not true for all Japanese fonts available on Windows 10:

Regarding the New Super Mario Bros U edit you reverted…watch the ending of New Super Mario Bros U again. Bowser Jr is visibly continuously struggling to lift everyone the entire time holding on to Bowser’s hands, while Bowser’s feet try to latch onto the bottom of the clown car. Knowing physics, it’s not the clown car doing the heavy lifting. As for the mechanical claw, it’s quite clear Bowser Jr controls it as he is literally the only one who ever does and even made an upgrade to his clown car containing a version of it in his special move for Mario Tennis Aces. May you please revert the page back?

Just because he's the only one we see using it, that doesn't mean we should assume he's the only one who does at all. The fact is we can't see who was controlling it in the intro, and we shouldn't note who it was if we don't know for sure. Regarding the ending, your point makes no sense: watch it again and you can see Bowser's hands are clearly holding onto the rim of the car (motionless, while Jr. is moving his); you're taking physics into account in a make-believe game, let alone a Nintendo game; and even going by your logic and taking it into account, there's absolutely no way Jr. would be able to practically carry them all with just his arms (which would be far less plausible than the car being able to carry them all), and it's more like he's visibly struggling from the weight added to the car. Hi again, I was wondering some things that can be translated. So can you check the volume 31 scans to see if the Rocky Wrench looking creature is actually a Rocky Wrench? Can you also see if the Monty Moles are mentioned to work or are made from Bowser Jr., or if the Noki Bay one is said to be the same as the Pinna Park one? Finally for Super Mario-kun translations, can you tell me the name for the Monty Mole miners in Volume 44 (alongside the Buzzy Beatle leader if you need to). So would the ”Mogera Kong” be a Rocky Wrench since they look similar or just a different species of mole not related to them? Second, the Monty Mole miners name is literally said on the scan I used for their page see for yourself. If you still don’t see it, it was in page 107. Im not being harsh here or anything I just wanted to let you know. Thanks again for the info but I wanted to make a thing clear. I believe those text boxes are meant to show the name of the characters and not just them shouting their names. It happed before with Monty Moles in volumes 1 and 31, and Rocky Wrench in volume 30 and maybe 45. The writers probably did it to help introduce these characters much easier (since the target demographic is mainly children). Either way I think the name said should be used as the name for the page at least. Also for the Mogera Kong page can you give the not translated name for when I add it and. And finally, what was that drink the Monty Mole gave Mario in volume 17? Those are all my questions and I hope all of this can get translated. So should Pūko be both a Monty Mole and Rocky Wrench since they took a appearance of a Rocky Wrench in the first chapter, but they clearly look like a Monty Mole in the Mole Festival chapter? The knight Monty Moles I think were mentioned when Pūko told Mario to put on the knight armor (Which is the page before Mario has the knight armor) so the info is most likely in those 2 pages. About the Oshibo I misspelled it on MontyMoleLore's talk page: I meant "Oseibo", the packed lunch that is usually offered to the dead, but it's also used like a normal Bento.

About the "liberties", it's for the full context of their dialogue: Mario menace to squash the Piranha Plant, but the Plant has clearly the upper hand, uses his word against him and, to add insult to injury, also sprays him with a bug spray. It's more an adaptation than a translation, basically.

About "Hinote", that's just my fault: I normally use a site to copy-paste a scanned word. The first time I checked (when I used a scan of the entire page) "Hinote" (Fire Hand) is what came out and I used that Romanization on the volume page. Then, when I rechecked to copy-paste the word in Japanese letters (this time using just the panel) on the transformation page, it translated as "Fireball", but I thought it was a second translation, I didn't consider the possibility that the first time the site didn't fully get the last letter (which it was very similar to the actual last letter, so I wasn't doubtful), so I used the wrong Romanization. Ops: Once again, a similar mistake to "Hinote Mario": you know the little Japanese letters above the main letters of a word? The aforementioned site I use, read those too, this time around, since the page was big enough to let the site read those too. ちかたい (Chikatai) are the little letters above 地下部隊 (see here). "Small" as translation, came up while comparing the full name on the different translation sites, it was the best result my research offered. Chitei Kaijū Indī

Hey uh, you named the Chitei Kaijū Indī into Chitei Kaijū Indy. Indī is the raw Japanese name for Mega Mole while Indy is the English term. I believe the page should be reverted back to Chitei Kaijū Indī due to it being fully raw Japanese (and for most manga Monty Moles we use Choropū anyways, not Choropoo). Technical fit system in WarioWare: Get It Together?

If you want, you could add a technical fit system to microgames and boss stages in WarioWare: Get It Together. So you add a technical fit system, use characters for microgames and rank them on the technical system. It’s optional but would be recommended I think.

Edit: Technical fit system is where you play as characters in microgames and rate them on the fit system, like for example you would probably make Orbulon one of the best fit in Spiky Wario because he can suck up the creatures.

They're being removed because you're mostly adding poorly written and unnecessary information, some of which is just added haphazardly into paragraphs without connecting it with the rest of the article well so it makes sense. If you can try to present your information with proper grammar, then maybe it can stay, but otherwise users are likely just going to remove it if it can't be understood. Delete

You deleted a redirect I had from one of my comments that for some reason, was a red link. I only put the redirect so it works. I didn’t want to use a fake link or it would not work well. I know, I know, but as a foreign, my English teachers/tutors/parents/friends never ever said anything about contractions, so it's basically stuck in my brain. I'm trying to avoid this, but it's hard to fight a 21 years old habit. About the Japanese naming, yes I know that too: that's me just confusing the Wiki rules with the Wikia's. About my Japanese translation method: at the beginning, I used this site to extract the Japanese text from a page and then compare the translations on the dictionary and sites (rarely but basically never I used Google Translate). This was when I was scarce in Japanese, now I'm a bit better: I hardly use that image-translator site to copy-paste the text (I directly write down the stuff), I still use reliable translation sites (like Reverso Context) and my knowledge from the lessons. Dwhitney (talk) stated as such in a recent edit, and I must say, I've never really noticed (if that's true), just that the wiki has generally been inconsistent about it. Question: why format it that way in the first place? It makes more grammatical sense to me to add quotation marks outside italics. For instance, doing it this way makes it much more clearer when quotation marks are already part of a quote, making it a visual indicator that they are not part of the original quote, and also makes it more aesthetically appropriate when said quotation marks are at the beginning or end of an italicized quote. I don't think there's a hard policy on it, but my impression was always that adding quotation marks inside italics was a mistake that caught on from much copy-pasting or some imperfect editing tools. I'm also with LinkTheLefty and I completely agree with him, I use the same reasoning he does to italicize outside of quotes. Quotation marks should be in italics only if they are part of the quote, especially considering we italicize quotation marks already inside if a character or description is quoting something.
