SMB2 Mario: Can You Dig It? is an official course in Course World in Super Mario Maker 2. It is the seventeenth level of Ninji Speedruns, running from January 19, 2021 to January 26, 2021. It is set at night in the snow theme and in the Super Mario Bros. game style.
The level begins with a lone SMB2 Mushroom atop some Cloud Blocks, along with some Piranha Plants, a Big Spike throwing big snowballs, and a Warp Pipe. Afterwards, Mario will encounter another Big Spike throwing big snowballs, followed by a normal Spike throwing snowballs over five Munchers and a POW Block. After approaching three Piranha Plants atop Cloud Blocks, Mario will drop down to a Warp Pipe spawning snowballs to a Brick Block revealing a Beanstalk, followed by two Big Spikes throwing snowballs below a Cursed Key. After dropping below two more sets of Cloud Blocks, Mario will reach a Warp Door; if he subsequently drops below rows of Cloud Blocks before a parachuting Big Thwomp passes him, he can enter a Key Door leading to a 50-Coin and a minor shortcut to the next Warp Pipe. Seven big parachuting snowballs then appear, followed by the Goal Pole.

"Transform into SMB2 Mario and get after it! You can ride on enemies or snowballs that you'd normally just stomp. Let your foes carry you to victory, or pick 'em up and throw 'em! Select Mario's Moves from the pause menu for details. And if you get stuck, try digging up a Cloud Block!"
