The category also proves this. So this is still important to note. Even though Battle minigames are just 4-Player minigames marked as "Battle minigames", they aren't in future Mario Parties. Mario Party 9 as example. It doesn't have a specific Battle minigame category of which it can only pick minigames from. It picks minigames from the large 4-Player category.
