Luigi has a brother

There are unsubstantiated rumours that Luigi has a brother. This is not true.

Waluigi never had a brother

There were claims in Mario Tennis that Waluigi had a brother, but this was clearly made up, like Princess Daisy being Peach's cousin. At Nintendo, as soon as Waluigi was designed, it became clear that no character could ever compete, let alone be seen near, Waluigi, and as a result Shigeru Miyamoto stopped directing Luigi games, having reached the pinnacle of design. The claims that another character whose name starts with Wa exists are clearly fan speculation, which is not covered in this wiki.
