Level 5-1 is the first level of Honō no Dōkutsu and the forty-first level overall in Mario & Wario.
Layout[edit]
The player starts the level at the bottom right, whereas Luigi is found near the very center. Wanda must simply destroy the Rock Blocks each Tsubōn is dangling from to defeat them, while activating the three Flip-Flop Blocks, in order for the player to reach Luigi. There are also two Coin Blocks respectively near the bottom left and near the middle-right that Wanda can hit for up to twenty coins.
Stars[edit]
There are a total of four Stars in this level.
- Star 1: Just to the right of the goal. Wanda must destroy the Rock Block it is situated on while the player is below it to collect it.
- Star 2: In a crevice at the top right. Wanda must simply have the player change direction after jumping on the Jump Block, then destroy the small Rock Blocks to send it falling into the player's path.
- Star 3: In the player's path after the final drop before the goal.
- Star 4: In a crevice just below the top platform. Wanda must destroy the Rock Block it is situated on while the player is below it to collect it.
