Kremling Krunch, also known as Kremling Krunch Game, was an online Donkey Kong 64-themed Shockwave game published for the 1999 version of Camp Hyrule,[2] as well as DKTV, the official website for Donkey Kong 64. It is the antithesis to Donkey Konk, as the player must defeat Kongs instead of Kremlings. The Shockwave file used to play the game is named games_kremling_pop.dcr,[3] suggesting the game was internally named Kremling Pop.

Gameplay[edit]

Using the mouse, the player has to bonk Kongs that pop out of six holes in a wall, including Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Cranky Kong, and Funky Kong. Hitting a Kong adds 5 points to the score counter on the top of the screen. Another counter to the left of the score tallies the number of Kongs the player misses. Additionally, many types of Kremlings appear from the holes, such as Re-Koils, Klumps, Kuff 'n' Klout, and King K. Rool, which must be avoided. Hitting a Kremling depletes one of the player's hearts in the top left corner of the screen. If 10 Kongs are missed, or all three hearts are lost and the player hits another Kremling, the game is over, prompting the player to play again.
