Avalanche[citation needed] is an obstacle in Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, found in both versions of the game. It is located in the Orange Kingdom, specifically in Silver Snow Peak.
As Donkey Kong and Hoofer are running down the mountain, an avalanche approaches the heroes at a fast pace behind them. If they touch it, they will take damage. In the Wii version of the game, a giant snowball must be removed to escape the avalanche. After the two successfully get away from it, it is not seen anywhere else in the game.
