Chomping at the Bit is a co-op challenge featured in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, accessed via the Buddydome/Rabbolatory. It is part of the Ultra Challenge Pack DLC, and is in the DLC Co-op Campaigns category, and is part of the "Cataclysm Kerfuffle!" campaign. This challenge is unlocked after clearing Ancient Gardens. The objective of this challenge is to defeat twenty enemies. Completion of this challenge unlocks the "hard" difficulty option for the challenge.

Description[edit]

Chain Chomps, enemies everywhere, your heroes scattered - that's just for starters. You'll need to reunite your heroes QUICKLY to turn the tables!

Layout[edit]

The battlefield is of medium size and is like a grid. The corners of the map have lower and higher ground, with the opposite corners matching elevations. Five squares of water inside the battlefield limit the movement of all characters, and these areas also count as "out of bounds". The heroes are spaced out from each other at the corners near the center, with a Chain Chomp between them, making for four Chain Chomps total. There are eight Garden Smashers on the battlefield, with two each on the northern, southern, eastern and western sides. Pipes allow transportation to the corners of the battlefield.

Battle[edit]

The heroes must defeat twenty enemies to win. After the heroes' turn, the Chain Chomps will act. As the battle goes on, Garden Ziggies and Garden Hoppers will rise from the ground in groups of three. The Ziggies appear at the high ground corners, while the Hoppers emerge at the lower elevation areas. After twenty enemies have been defeated, the challenge is won.
