World 5 (also known as the Ice World[1]) is the fifth of six worlds in the game Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and its remake Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3. It consists of eight regular levels; its Extra Stage is Extra 5: Kamek's Revenge, and its Secret Stage is Secret 5: Items are fun!. It takes place on both the tops of snowy peaks, and in the clouds that surround them. They also feature bird-like enemies like Ravens, Goonies and Bumpties. The world's unlockable Bonus Challenge is Roulette.

The player meets up with several new enemies, along with the level having many Ski Lifts, which are only found on this level. This is the last stage in the game which features the "Flower Garden" music. |

This level is made up of lots of snow and ice - the ice often makes it difficult for Yoshi to keep its footing. This is the last stage in the game which features the "Above Ground" music. |

 Purple |
As the name suggests, the player will have to ride on top of Goonies to reach certain parts of this level. This level also includes a morph bubble that allows Yoshi to morph into a Helicopter. |

As the name suggests, this level is made up of entirely out of clouds. the player must go through the clouds to make it through this course. The first room of the level is a sidescrolling section. |

As the name implies, it consists on jumping from platform to platform in order to avoid falling into the bottomless pit below. |

This is the fifth of the Secret Stages exclusive to Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshi's Island. It can be very short or very long; the player can simply enter the goal roulette (which is in the second screen) right away. However, they must go into the pipe if they wish to obtain 100 points for the level, as the rest of the level is located on the other side of it. |

This is the fifth Extra Stage in the game. Throughout the level, Kamek will try to attack Yoshi and knock Baby Mario off him. Some Green Gloves also attempt to knock Yoshi off of the many log platforms. |

Random | Players bet lives on a roulette, which randomly spins to generate an equation that increases or decreases lives depending on where it stops. |

Player's Guide description: Brrr! It's mighty cold in the frosty peaks of Yoshi's Island. A smart dino knows there's only one thing to do: hop in the closest chalet and strap on a pair of skis! Keep climbing, and when you run out of solid ground, hop on a winged pal to take you even higher. Uh-oh. Not all birds are of a friendly feather, though. Before exiting World 5, Yoshi will go nose-to-beak in a ground-pounding battle with Raphael the Raven, who would love to squawk "Nevermore!"[2]
