OGG Files

I noticed two things about OGG files:

  • Seldom use here
  • Potential copyright infringement, even moreso than image uploads, such as screenshots, sprite rips, etc.

Should the below be deleted to force them out of Special:UnusedFiles or can they be used somewhere? Normally, if it were an unused image, I would find a way to repurpose it, find the image that replaced it so that way {{delete}} can be used, or tag as {{tobedeleted}} to generate discussion on iffy deletion. Since these are audio and video files going unused, I am very hesitant these should be used in MarioWiki articles. Copyright is a tricky subject. Image ripping

I managed to find a website that shows pictures of all barrel types in Donkey Kong Barrel Blast's instruction manual here as well as a Zinger and a Necky, but I don't know how to rip them as they are saved as pdf's. About my Gloam Valley redirect

about the Vivian screenshots

The drawback is that dialogue boxes are closed too quickly in a TAS, and you have to get suboptimal screenshots like this sometimes.

Hi. I saw that you are requesting a better version of File:PMTTYD beldam plug ugly.png on Wildgoose's talk page. If it is not possible/feasible to take one from screenshot, it is possible to obtain one from the official encodes (that is, movie files generated by emulators) on tasvideos.org. They have a TAS for the English version of PMTTYD [1] and one for Japanese [2], so a lot of emulator-quality screenshots can be taken from these encodes, if you don't want to play the game again. DKBB help

Hi, can you upload images of the two Launcher Barrel variants? One of them is yellow, and the other is the one on the Mt. Dynamite racetrack with the DK logo on it that appears at the top of the downhill path near the finish line. Also, does the giant squid on Salty Sea count as an enemy? Image sourcing

First of all, props for those Wario World screenshots; since I'm not capable of uploading anything but Youtube screenshots for Gamecube games, your high quality versions are definitely appreciated. The stats are a bit outdated and are better presented with {{pm2enemybox}}es, but I'm not sure if it's ok to copy the stats on the individual enemy pages onto the fighter team pages; that could run afoul of MW:ONCE. LMDM Team-Up

Remember how you asked me to get ScareScraper boss ghosts uploaded (only had a few but couldn't supply the rest)? One question, your uploads during that period, were they your own derived screenshots from your 3DS? If so, that's good news. That means you can help me with something. I noticed Gallery:Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon#Gameplay is hideously organized. I think it needs a revamp. I didn't realize until several edits in. What do you think? DKBB

My position hasn't changed much: the article still has tense issues and the images still have aliasing issues. I'm not a fan of the table colours, either: they don't do a particularly good job of masking the aliasing, and the darker colour of the headers make it hard to read the black text.
