I stated that Pauline is the first female character in Nintendo games and the first female character in games in general. You said that this is false, but it's correct. Ms. Pacman, often cited as being the first female character, came AFTER Pauline. For a piece of trivia on Pauline's character, I think that is a pretty important piece of trivia.

What's this warning doing here?

Hi, Glowsquid. I got a warning from ParaLemmy1234 (talk) for "adding inappropriate messages on article talk pages." I'd like to know what exactly I've been doing to receive this message and how I haven't gotten any advance notice to alter my inappropriate behavior. Thanks.

My sister has also gotten a warning without any sort of advance notice from the same user because she was "swearing in edit summaries."

I have a feeling that ParaLemmy1234 gave these warnings without devoting a lot of time considering if we really deserve it and that the user doesn't realize that warnings shouldn't be dealt out so lightly and generously like this.

I feel like that's a part of the issue; it already is an autoconfirmed privilege, and the most recent vandals have abused that by making complete junk edits to fulfill the conditions for autoconfirmation (in the case of the the potato drone, they'd made a few vandal edits that resulted in their previous block, which still counted).

I do agree that this isn't nearly as severe as what I've imagined you've had to deal with before my time (since this is the first I've ever seen of this nonsense), but it's still something to consider, I guess. Lord Grammaticus (talk)

Wario Fandom/Fan Site

Would you be interested in one? Because you seem to be the person here (and on sites like DK Vine and my own one) most 'connected' to the Wario series fandom (what with your focus on updating the WarioWare pages and character preferences), and so I'm curious whether you'd be interested in the idea of a Wario Land and WarioWare focused website in the near future.

It's not launched yet (hence why I haven't added it to the Mario Wiki affiliates list), but I do think it seems like something you might potentially be interested in given your comments on my Wario fandom article, and given that no existing site about the subject already exists, I think any help from those Wario series fans still around would definitely be much appreciated.

I think I explained it badly on the forums, but I believe the current nomination doesn't have the number, and the archived ones have a number on it. IPs do not change to existing users, otherwise too many users would get banned as a vandal's account would come along and their IP address would move to it. Also, as I've stated you're computer information is identical, and seeing as you only have one computer, it's obvious that you were the user, especially since like I've mentioned the user shares your exact same views, and even uses the "joke" that you mentioned a lot. End of hole reaction thing

What should we do with the End-of-hole animations than? If you feel that it doesn't warrant a section, it still needs to go somewhere, as it is a memorable and somewhat important thing. If it doesn't deserve a spot, where do we put it? I thought it was fine where it was. You see it every hole on basically every mode you're on, making it far more memorable and notable than a cup result for Mario Tennis. But an image sounds like a good idea, as it puts a description along with what it looks like without making a section for it, maybe not the gallery though. Have you seen how many pics there are of them? On a side note, do you think that the challenges table should become a template, seeing as it's huge and everything, like the MK7 kart part section? -

Separate currenly Featured articles from currently Defeatured articles
List them in alphabetic order

The user does it again. He did change little things though. And Walkazo (see history) thinked that I copypasted and modyfied SM64 Luigi (misunderstand, but not angry at him in any way). I will issue the warning, if I got it wrong, I will face what will happen.

Undo Block?

Hey, Glowsquid? John_G here. Can you please undo my block? I wasn't using an IP because I wanted to make something more common, I was just using my other computer when signed out. I kept re-adding the information that was deleted because it was true information as far as I knew. And I did not plagarise anything, I wrote the information myself. I don't see why my account was blocked, and I wasn't aware I was breaking any rules. If something I wrote was similiar to something someone else wrote, I was unaware of it. So. . . Can you re-instate my account? Because I think I need a second chance. Also, can you add Marty the Thwomp to the rumor page?

Standard procedure when you want to contest a block is to email mwikisysops@gmail.com as instructed in the block message instead of ban evadind, but I'm willing to humour you this time only (won't respond to any further message).

I've talked with the rest of the staff and any appeal you make is very likely going to be denied. Here's why:

1: Prior to your block, you were warned about edit-warring and changing the lead without discussion - both of which you continued to do as an IP after the warning was issued. "I didn't see it" is not an excuse.

2:Even if it had been an acceptable excuse, fact is you continued to edit-war and change content without discussion, and that after your changes were reverted by staff and non-staff alike.

3:Some of the content you added is clearly plagiarised - Compare page 7 of this GamesRadar feature] with what you "wrote" about the purple yoshi rumour in yoshi's story. Switching from active to passive, using synonyms and changing around the sentence order is nowhere near enough to pass it as original writing.
