Hello! You’ve reached the new and updated version of Quizmelon’s user page, finally refurbished after being left to fester for four and a half years. The last one was a shameful disappointment. Though chances are I’ll feel that about this one in four and a half years too.
Who am I? Quizmelon, a real human person from England.
What do you do? I’m best known on the wiki for writing the TV Tomorrow column in the ‘Shroom, which I have done since June 2016, never missing an issue since then. If you want to read all of them, I personally would recommend starting from 2018 since I don’t feel I hit my stride until then. As of November 2023 I’ve written over 90.

...anything else? Not really. I’ll admit that I’ve never been the most active user on the Mario Boards forum; if you want to reach me, it’d probably be faster to reach me through the Wiki.
So if you weren’t on the Mario Boards forum, where were you talking to other people about Mario-related topics? Well, it’s funny I should ask that. For the ‘Shroom’s 150th issue, I wrote this article about how I used to be a member of the once-thriving but now-very-much-not-thriving Mario Universe community on the trivia app QuizUp. I know it doesn’t look that pretty, but it’s still worth a read in my opinion. It’s also the only non-TV Tomorrow contribution I’ve ever made to the ‘Shroom.
What sort of skills do you think you have? I’m good at writing and Mario Kart; I’m bad at art/design-related things and keeping my user page up to date.
Plans for the future? Keep writing TV Tomorrow until I get a Nobel Prize in Literature for it.
Got an interesting visual representation of yourself? Well, as I say, I’m terrible at art, so I never bothered to create one... but nonetheless, I do now have one, thanks to The Pyro Guy, who designed this excellent representation of me for the ‘Shroom’s Halloween special Trick or Treat section in Issue 175.
Any important Mario-related opinions? I’ve put a few below this section.

Favourite Mario game: Super Mario Galaxy 2.
Favourite Mario Kart course: Maple Treeway.
Favourite Mario Party board: Shy Guy’s Perplex Express. (Is it obvious that I like the Wii?)
Opinion on Paper Mario: Have only played Colour Splash and Origami King. Really enjoyed both of them. Have seen a playthrough of TTYD on YouTube and thought it looked good too. Wish that people would stop complaining and just enjoy the games for what they are.
Favourite non-Mario game: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
Favourite article on the wiki: MarioWiki:BJAODN. I highly recommend it if you’ve never read it before.
Favourite Mario music: Buoy Base Galaxy. (Also my favourite song of all time. I don’t really listen to non-video game music.)
