Sorry, had to get that outa my system. Someday I'll get around to sending Ralphfan some back up articles from the Fake Fake News. One of them is for a funeral, and says "... (species name) will be most of the atendees, though Wayoshi will be attending just for the free food."

Suggestion for images
I've been trying to categorize some of the uncategorized images on the special page for those images, an I've noticed a large percentage of them are from the 'shroom. It may be a good idea to make a shroom images category somewhere. Thanks for reading this.

You really should look if our sections are objective enough, because you can't take seriously a section with "I like/I don't like" stuff. Let's improve this newspaper! :)

Mushroom Times
I just wanted to let you know that, in the instruction booklet of Mario Pinball Land, the kidnapping of Princess Peach is told by a newspaper called Mushroom Times. It seems to be the official newspaper of the Mushroom Kingdom, and it's a shame that the 'Shroom is not named the Mushroom Times :D

Is it me or...
...Did The 'Shroom suddenly gotten ten times better than when I last remembered? Keep that in mind that it has been a while since I actually read it, or drop by in MarioWiki for 2-3 years. I can say that the stuff is a lot more colorful, the interface in the main page is more manageable and direct; there's even rounded corners. It's a lot more vibrant and useful now than before. It's jam-packed full of effort plastered all over this. You definitely made me a regular reader now.
Suggestion: in those section boxes, force the "[read more]" text to have it's own line. It makes it look nicer. Example (mockup):

Instead of
| blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah [read more] |
...and maybe make the [read more] bigger and bold it.

We all ♥ The Shroom
I love the 'Shroom, as a fan of Mario for years. It is great to finally see some new sparks in Mario history. It includes fun topics. My all time favorite is the Fake News! The thing is, I have wanted Nintendo for so long to do an animated Mario movie with the same animation as beginning scenes from Mario spinoffs. I mean, wouldn't you? So I have a great suggestion. How about a section for an upcoming Fake Mario Game/Movie? Just a thought.

Why in the world are some of the things that you guess not Nintendo or Mario related? This is a Mario wiki. Other than that, though, great issue!

- Hello Flying Mario595! I assume that you are talking about my Guess That Game! section in the Fun Stuff, although there are several other articles featured monthly that cover non-Nintendo and non-Mario related themes. Even though The 'Shroom is featured on a Mario wiki, its primary purpose is to serve as a MarioWiki community publication and to cater specifically to the diverse interests of our members. Naturally, our project's largest focus will be the Mario series as that is why most people joined the wiki to begin with; however, there are numerous people here that also appreciate other gaming series and even non-gaming themes that we discuss from time to time. This variety of coverage that we provide in each issue has allowed The 'Shroom to grow from 3 articles in 2006 to the 50+ articles we have featured this month.
