The Star Rod is an item from the Super Smash Bros. series that originates from the Kirby series. It has appeared in Super Smash Bros., Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Brawl as an attack item. It sends out stars at other players to hurt them. Additionally, contact with the Star Rod itself during a swing can cause damage. The Star Rod can shoot twenty stars, but can be used indefinitely as a battering item. Two characters swing their Star Rods differently: Sheik shoots two stars one after another while Captain Falcon shoots one, then four stars at once.
