Star Cursor

The Star Cursor is a cursor that appears on-screen in Super Mario Galaxy. This star shaped cursor enables Mario to do many things such as grab a Star Bit, stun enemies by shooting Star Bits, activate a Pull Star, and control a Sling Pod. It is taken advantage of in the Bubble Blowing mini-game where it acts as wind to move the bubble along. The Star Cursor on the screen is produced by the wireless motion sensitivity on the Wii Remote. In multiplayer Co-Star mode, a second star cursor appears. This cursor allows the second person to do all of the tasks that the first person's star cursor can do. It can also manipulate the environment and halt enemy movement. Pressing the Jump Button at the same time improves Mario's Jump.
