Template:Company-infobox Nintendo Entertainment Analysis and Development (Nintendo EAD) was a division of Nintendo known for designing Mario games, although they have also worked on other series, such as The Legend of Zelda and Star Fox. The Chief Production Officer was Satoru Iwata, but the general managers are Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka.

On September 14, 2015, Nintendo announced plans to merge EAD and the game development arm of Nintendo SPD into a new division known as Nintendo Entertainment Planning and Development, effective September 16.[1]
