Template:Kart-infobox The Birthday Girl (known as Royal Ribbon in PAL regions) is a kart body that appears in Mario Kart 7. It resembles a shoe, with ribbons and bows decorated. As its North American name implies, it is a body that is primarily designed for female characters, but it can also be used by the male or indeterminate-gender characters, although male or indeterminate-gender computer racers are not seen on this kart. It changes color for Princess Daisy, Rosalina, and Honey Queen, receving an orange, blue, and purple color scheme, respectivley. Furthermore, it is Princess Peach's, Princess Daisy's, and Rosalina's signature kart, as well as one of Honey Queen's, alongside the Bumble V. Although it changes color for most female characters, Peach and female Miis do not get a color change. It offers a high acceleration and handling boost, while its speed, weight, and off-road are hindered.

Trivia

  • The Birthday Girl is the first body in the series that changes color, but each character doesn't get a different color scheme, as most characters share the same color scheme. In Mario Kart 8, this trait applies to the Landship.
